About the Role:
Do you thrive on bringing people together and creating memorable experiences? Meet&Eat is more than a platform—we are a community built around shared moments with food. We are looking for an energetic Event & Partnership Intern to help us plan, organize, and execute unique cultural events. You will be at the heart of our community, connecting with local businesses, partners, and participants to make every event a success.
What You'll Do:
- Event Planning: Assist in conceptualizing and organizing cooking workshops, cultural dinners, and networking events that celebrate global cuisines.
- Partnership Development: Identify and reach out to local venues, chefs, cultural organizations, and food suppliers to co-create events.
- Logistics & Coordination: Manage event logistics, from venue setup and participant communication to on-the-ground coordination.
- Community Engagement: Be the face of Meet&Eat at events, ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all participants and fostering cross-cultural connections.
- Post-Event Analysis: Gather feedback and help measure the success of each event to continuously improve our offerings.
What We're Looking For:
- Student in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you're a people person.
- Creative problem-solver who can think on their feet.
- Fluency in English (Spanish and other languages are a big plus).
- Previous experience in event coordination or community management is an advantage.
